Judgment 03:25
Judgment. Do you think your actions are beyond reproach? Do you think that I should just keep my mouth closed? Why must I respect your actions even though nothing about them is respectable? But then you say don’t judge me. Don’t judge me. Have you ever raised your fist to the flag? Have you ever cried out “fuck the government”? Have you ever said a war was criminal? Have you ever called a company despicable? Well that’s judgment. I hear almost constantly, that my critical judgments must cease. With my words I’ll push them all away. Well that’s hard for me to hear when it’s coming from a kid with a circled A. Well can you honestly tell me that you don’t see right and wrong? Well can you honestly tell me that you don’t distinguish at all? Well please forgive me if I’m not so indifferent, to the suffering death and cooperation with enslavement. Because complacency is a crime. You’re not neutral, you picked sides. Well can you please forgive me for speaking what’s on my mind? Well can you please forgive me for not being able to turn a blind eye? Cause I can’t go on with the murdering and killing, raping and stealing, lying and cheating, because this heart of mine won’t stay silent. And I’ve got to do something about these abuses, otherwise I’m useless, no more excuses, so please you’ll just have to forgive me for my judgment.

Thames 03:22
Thames. This squat’s not getting any warmer, underneath that darkened London sky. The leak in the roof is getting worse. I hear it dripping all night. And I can’t bring myself to get out of bed, or even open up my eyes. These dark crowded streets are haunting me, try to drag me down to the Thames so I can jump inside. And I’ll sink down underneath, while the top freezes with ice two feet thick. I’m even drowning in my dreams. I want to float to the top so they can bury me. I don’t think I can take this much longer, feels like I’m holding my breath. This squat feels like it bound to collapse with every bus that passes. And I have seen a better way for us to live. But will you take my hand and follow me back to the wilderness? Otherwise we’ll sink down underneath, while the top freezes with ice two feet thick. Even drowning in my dreams, I want to float to the top so they can bury me. Well I know that you might be comfortable in your own misery, but I’m going back to the woods whether or not you follow me. And I’ll be there among the trees on out on my own, but if you stumble down my trail well you’re welcome to call this home.

Passion For Freedom. They’re trapped in this life nobody seems to cares about, their fate lies now in our hands The truth is hard, these creatures aren’t viewed as anything, except monetary wealth. Their suffering is being ignored. To those that feed them it’s just a job. You and their masters tell yourselves that it’s for the best, that it’s not so bad But our passion for freedom shows us this suffering nobody deserves. They can increase their prison space or better their treatment, But these chains and fences need to break, for all enslaved. Each of them is a victim of this system that puts profit over life and alienates all solidarity. This is the system we grew up in, yet somehow we learned to disagree. We dedicate our lives to vegan justice, put our anger into action, into practical solutions. These are consequences all exploiters have to face, we show our solidarity with every suppressed species and race. Because our passion for freedom shows us this suffering nobody deserves They can increase their prison space and better their treatment, but these chains and fences need to break, for all enslaved. We choose our actions within our reach. We plan our tactics carefully. We don’t fear government repression. Our means are limitless, they’ve only got prison.

4. Nothing’s Changed. I cannot pretend that your words aren’t killing me. They stab me in the chest like these invisible knives coming out of my back, I have sworn to defend the lives of the innocent, so it’s where my allegiance will stand. You say that things have changed but can you honestly point to any of them? You say you don’t feel the same, fine, it doesn’t change their circumstances, They’re suffering and dying inside these cages that you’re now supporting, But I will champion on alone. You say that it’s too hard for you to live this way, but how hard would it be to spend your whole life trapped in a cage? How hard would it be to be tortured every day? Now that would be too hard. That would be too hard. But then you say you got sick but your new lifestyle, well it’s killing them, and it’s killing me. You say that things have changed but can you honestly point to any of them? You say you don’t feel the same, fine, it doesn’t change their circumstances. They’re suffering and dying inside these cages that you are now supporting, But I will champion on alone. And I will be out on these feet, Screaming until my heart stops beating. I will not turn my back on their cries. Even if I am the only one left standing with no allies. My voice will be for all that have been silenced by your apathy and lies.

Phoenix 03:56
Phoenix. I have seen my own phoenix die and from the ashes nothing did rise. And how many times must I go round this circle before I reach the end. And how many lifetimes must I endure before I am content. Burning eyes stair out over the earthly expanse. Dirty sneakers fill up with sand. And this heart beats against his skinny ribcage. With each rasping breath these lungs feel like they’re giving in. And how many times must I go round this circle before I reach the end. And how many lifetimes must I endure before I am content. And all the pain that opens up inside my heart every time that I’m dreaming. And all I can hope for is that this endless violent cycle will reach an end. And all I can hope for is that they will see the insanity of this plan.

Kids 02:19
Kids We’re the kids that will never grow up. We’re the kids that will never grow up to conformity. And that’s fine Gonna ride our bicycles until the sun is coming up. Gonna skate down these hills as if they were mountain tops. Gonna lay in the grass starring at the clouds. There’s no future there is only right now. We’re the kids that will never grow up and that is fine with me. Dive and skate and bike and dream and build our house up in the tree, gonna grow all the food we need and when it’s out of season well go diving. We’ll scavenge all the cloths we use, and breaking down preconceptions of things that are new. We don’t have to go to school cause with autonomy it’s called self-rule. Said the moon and the sun and the stars are rising, we don’t have to make social compromises, we just want to live for free, that’s everyone on the planet not just you and me. We’ll all end up the same, 6 feet down into the grave. So does it matter how many material things you accomplish when the price is your own happiness? Enslave yourself to the souls of the beast. Chain yourself to this economy, everyone takes this life for granted like it’s the only style on this planet. Live, hate and consume and die by their ways, we can make the sun shine on a brighter day, just follow the reason in your heart to stay forever young. Forever young. Living the lies sold on TV, we can make stars out of a brighter dream. We just have to start today and can push this fear away. We’re the kids that will never grow up to conformity. We’re the kids that will never grow up and that’s fine with me.

Father Said 04:54
Father Said. As I watch that desert sun set over the western mountains, I lay my head down to rest. And if I see that eastern sun burning over the horizon then I’ll have known that I survived the night. Because every time I lay down to rest I stare at the stars like it’s the last time I’ll see them cause I don’t know if I’ll make it out each night, because I’ll I’m out here on my own. I’m out here all alone and 8 years I have sung this lonesome traveling song and every year that passes I change these lyrics once more. My father said to me “Son don’t own anything more than you can carry while keeping your arms free” and I heard my grandfather say “I don’t want to die with anything more than can fit in my glove compartment” and So I’ve taken these words to heart and I struck out on my own. Six strings on this guitar and backpack is my home. So when I die there won’t be anything left of me, than a worn out path a dirty bag and a few recordings. So as I lay my sleeping bag out under the trees tonight I’ll stare up at that darkened sky and hope to see the morning light. Because I’m out here on my own. I’m out here all alone and 8 years I have sung this lonesome traveling song and every year that passes I change these lyrics once more.

Outro 03:49
There has come a time for all those who with an honest and open heart to stand up. For every person who’s conscious no longer allowed them to wallow in the mire of ignorance and denial, that time is now. For all those with a burning desire for true justice and a world of equality, there is a storm raging. There can be a future when slavery, oppression, domination, and exploitation will no longer be tolerated in any form, by any hand or by any name. But that future will not come on it’s own though. It requires us to pull from our highest self. It requires of us to no longer be ruled by laziness, cowardice and fear. It requires us act upon what we know is right in our hearts and not what is just right by the law. There is a war raging outside these doors. And if you don’t believe me that it is a war, speak with the countless victims still being murdered and oppressed. Stare into their eyes as the life drains from them, listen to their walling moans and their struggle for freedom, and then tell me that this is no war. If you want to see a future were all being are free to live out their lives, where compassion, respect and understanding are fundamental in every society, then we must be willing to be their soldiers for them. We must be willing to be the freedom fighters for all those beings deserve. We must be willing to put our own lives on the line and give up what is most dear to us. They don’t need your excuses. They don’t need your apologies. They need your actions, they need your voice, they need your passion for freedom to grant them what which has been denied them for so long and they need it now. Rise Up! Rise Up to take a stand! There is no time to wait. For those being murdered and enslaved, they need us to act now. Do not be blinded by the rage within though. Use the love for freedom that lives in your heart to save all those you can. Let the love for justice, for equality and compassion be your compass. Let yourself be guided by courage. You are not alone, you are supported by the freedom fighters of this world. So what are you waiting for?
